Security Consultant-Governance - Wellington & Auckland
We are seeking Security Consultants to work across Information Security Governance, based in Wellington & Auckland.
You will preferably have a proven track record (5+ years) in the delivery of Information Security services and the ability to qualify for and maintain NZ Government Security Clearance (Confidential Level or higher).
You will be experienced at Security Consultancy – Information Security & Technical Security, understanding controls and where to apply if need be for example firewalls controls, network controls, virtualisation controls, hardening system controls.
Ideally you will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and have experience across Security Governance – Information security strategy development, security solution development, carrying out security processes, procedures based per a strategy.
Additionally we are seeking experience in Risk Assessment, Security and IT risks for projects and BAU activity, audit and compliance checks and vulnerability assessments. Penetration testing experience not needed but the ability to translate a security testing report to business risk and work with relevant teams to remediate issues or concerns.
Other skills required are project management skills, Standards like ISO27001 and NZISM, experience with NZ Government customers and any Security Certifications like CISA, CISM, CISSP.
