Middleware Specialist - Permanent
Are you an experienced Middleware Specialist and looking for a new challenge?
This large IT environment has a Specialist Middleware team and due to growth they have a permanent opportunity in their Wellington team. This Specialist role will see you providing day to day operations and support of middleware application servers, contributing to capacity planning, continuous improvement and project related work.

This Specialist role will see you providing day to day operations and support of middleware application servers, contributing to capacity planning, continuous improvement and project related work.
We are looking for the following skills but not limited to:
- A high level of experience installing, configuring, tuning, operating, monitoring and troubleshooting Weblogic Server (other middleware platforms desirable like Websphere/Tomcat)
- RDBMS/SQL knowledge, preferably Oracle
- Experience with HPUX, Solaris, Linux, Splunk, Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, TCL and subversion are desirable
- Programming experience preferably Java
- Strong project planning skills
- Excellent problem solving, attention to detail
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
